The Kenyon women’s track and field team announced that it has been chosen for the All-Academic Team by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Junior neuroscience and psychology double major Paula Soric was named an All-Academic Athlete for the third consecutive year

This was the fourth time in a row the Owls have been named, and the 15th time in program history, according to a release by the school. The Owls had a combined grade point average of 3.59 this year, eclipsing the qualifications of a cumulative GPA of 3.10.

Soric needed to have at least a 3.30 GPA, compete in an indoor or outdoor championship event, and/or be ranked in the national top-50 for the regular season or top-35 in a relay. The triple jumper qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship meet and placed 17th. Her best indoor triple jump distance was 37 feet, 4.5 inches, and outdoor she twice leaped 37 feet, five inches.
