The Kenyon College volleyball team earned the INTENT/AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2023 season, according to a release by the school on July 17.
According to the release, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced the award, which honors teams for their success in the classroom. This was through maintaining a 3.3 out of 4.0 cumulative team grade point average.
“The 2023 Kenyon Owls had no problem clearing that mark, as the 15 players on the roster combined to post an impressive 3.63 team grade point average,” the release stated.
This is the seventh straight season that the Kenyon Owls have won the AVCA Team Academic Award.
