The Ohio Justice Bus will visit the Knox County Department of Job and Family Services to offer free legal advice to low-income residents on Aug. 7. Private discussions with pro bono attorneys will be scheduled.

According to a news release from the Knox County Department of Job and Family Services, the Ohio Justice Bus is a mobile legal aid office and technology hotspot that enables legal aid opportunities. Pro bono attorneys will travel to and provide legal services to Ohioans at no cost to clients.

The Ohio Justice Bus will partner with the Knox County Department of Job and Family Services for the visit. Low-income residents will have a chance to speak privately to an attorney about family law issues, including child support, custody, visitation, and more.

Appointments will be available from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7. Call the department at 740-399-3029 to schedule an appointment.

The Knox County Department of Job and Family Services is located at 117 E. High St., Mount Vernon.
