Dale Leroy Hans, 91, of Howard, OH, passed away May 20, 2024, at Knox Community Hospital, in Mount Vernon, OH. Dale was born Aug. 12, 1932, in Ashland, OH to Ralph and Chloe {Barns} Hans. He married Anna J Randle on Aug. 19, 1956. Dale was a truck driver, a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge, as well as the Masonic Lodge. As a skilled mechanic, he could fix anything with an engine. He liked to golf and fish.
Dale will be deeply missed by his children: Dalene Thompson, Jacqueline (John) Packard, Michael Hans, and James (Shelly) Hans; grandchildren: Melissa (Josh), Amanda (Vinny), John, Justin, and Amy; great-grandchildren: Kayden, Giavanna, Keagan, Gabriella, Kyson, Giavanni, Jayda, Blake, Katie, and Maddie Jo. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Anna; his brothers, Carl, Albert and Paul Hans; and his grandson, Cole Cline. The family will hold a private service at a later time.
