Two staff members from Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), Judy Clevenger and Sue Morningstar, were recognized for their outstanding contributions at the Excellence In the Call awards reception. The event took place last month in Foster Hall, where both individuals were commended for their hard work and dedication.

Clevenger, who holds a significant position as the senior academic services specialist in MVNU's School of Graduate and Professional Studies, was lauded for her exceptional performance. According to an MVNU press release, she plays an "indispensable role" within the institution. Her colleagues, who nominated her for this recognition, praised her remarkable accuracy, profound knowledge, exceptional work ethic, and consistently positive attitude.

According to another MVNU press release, Morningstar serves as a Facility Services housekeeper in the Thorne Library Building. She was nominated due to her diligent work ethic, commitment, effective communication skills, and affability.

The quarterly award ceremony that took place on April 25 offered recognition at an employee reception along with a certificate and a $500 prize. As per the May 17 MVNU press release, this initiative was developed and sponsored by donors consisting of faculty and staff members.
