Douglas H. Neely, age 60, of Howard, Ohio, passed away on April 8, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family following a long battle with cancer. He was born on Dec. 22, 1963, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the son of the late Everett, B. Neely and Freda M. Gump.

On June 29, 1985, he married Lory J. Hart at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and together they have shared over 38 years together. He has lived his entire life in Howard, Ohio.

Doug graduated from East Knox High School in 1983 and received his associate's degree from COTC in applied sciences. He started his career in radiographic technologies at Licking Memorial Hospital, where he worked for 13+ years, before starting at Knox Community Hospital, where he worked in radiology, CT, and MRI.

Doug attended the Millwood Church of Christ along with his entire family.

Doug loved running 5K marathons, hunting, News Max, and working outside. Doug loved watching his grandkids play sports, show their animals at the county fair, and, most of all, loved watching his grandchildren grow. His proudest achievements were his marriage, his kids, and his grandchildren.
