COSHOCTON, OH—"Walk Together" is the theme of the Cardinal Chorale's reunion concert at The Presbyterian Church, Coshocton on Sunday, February 18. The concert is sponsored by Grace United Methodist Church and the Coshocton Community Choir.

Thirty-five young singers from Ohio and neighboring states will be part of the concert. The singers met this past July for the eight-day Cardinal Chorale Music Workshop at Muskingum University. In addition to learning the musical repertoire, they participated in electives, seminars, and evening programs. This reunion performance will be accompanied by Caroline S. Heading, Dickie R. Barrick, and Matthew H. Hayes. It will be conducted by Chad Putka and by Charles R. Snyder, who founded the Cardinal Chorale in 1995. In June, the Chorale will take their music across the state on a seven-day tour.

Snyder says the 90-minute concert is filled with numbers that audience members will enjoy, including "Loch Lomond," "Climb Every Mountain," "The New Girl in Town," "On This Night of a Thousand Stars," "I'm Goin' Up-a Yonder" and more. The Coshocton Community Choir will join in the final set, including "I Walk With God" and what has become a Chorale standard, Paul Christiansen's setting of "This Is My Father's World."

The Cardinal Chorale concert on Sunday, February 18 at 3:00 p.m. is free and open to the public. An offering will be received to help cover expenses for the weekend. The Chorale will also sing for the 10:30 a.m. worship service that Sunday morning in a combined service of Grace United Methodist Church and The Presbyterian Church.

The Presbyterian Church is located at 142 N. 4th Street in Coshocton. For more information about the concert, contact the Chorale office 740-623-0554. For more information about the Cardinal Chorale, visit their website at thecardinalchorale.com.
