West Holmes (1-9, 0-7) got down early and while they recovered to win the final three quarters, the Knights couldn’t claw their way back and fell 48-44 to Carrollton (3-10, 2-3) on Jan. 14 in the Claymont Classic.

The Warriors took a 16-5 lead in the first quarter, but West Holmes bounced back in the second quarter with a 10-6 advantage, cutting the deficit to seven points at halftime. In the third quarter, West Holmes had a 14-13 advantage to make it a 35-29 game. They outscored the Warriors 15-13 down the stretch, but the Warriors held on for a four point win.

Collier Cline had 15 points and Manny Camacho put up 10 points for the Knights.

This was the eight straight loss for the Knights. West Holmes looks to turn things around on Jan. 19 in a road game against OCC foe New Philadelphia.
