Nancy Lee Smith of Sarasota, age 91, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024.

Originally from Fredericktown, Ohio, Nancy and Chuck raised their family in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Nancy was a longtime past resident and avid golfer of Peridia Country Club in Bradenton. Nancy is predeceased by husband, Charles Smith, and son, Mark Smith.

She is survived by sons Mike Smith (Carol), and Marty Smith (Jill), along with seven grandchildren Drew, Chris, Amanda, Meg, Maren, Ashley, and Carly; and five great-grandchildren; Cayde, Mirra, Millie Marie, Collan and Levi. 

A private family service will be held as Nancy will be interred with her husband Charles at the Sarasota National Cemetery. Donations to Tidewell Hospice in Nancy’s memory are appreciated: 3550 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34239
