Case S-P2302354

On November 17, 2023 deputies and a Fredericktown Police Officer made contact with two individuals at Knox Lake spillway who were camping out in their vehicle. A K-9 was used to conduct a free air sniff of the vehicle with a positive alert to the odor of narcotics. During the search suspected narcotics were found. The female occupant of the vehicle gave a false name during the investigation but later learned the female lied. Brittany Christine was positively identified then arrested for falsification and obstructing official business then taken to the Knox County Jail.

A complainant reported that a hunter was found dismounted from his tree stand, and was unresponsive.

On 11/18/2023 A deputy was dispatched to Kenyon Campus safety on a found drug and drug paraphernalia. The items were collected for destruction nothing further at this time.

On November 19, 2023 deputies responded to Royal Circle, Howard, Ohio in reference to a domestic violence incident. Both parties were interviewed. The individual deemed to be the primary physical aggressor was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.

On Sunday, November 11, 2023, deputies were dispatched to 3565 Apple Valley Dr. to investigate an injured deer. Upon arrival the deer was located and dispatched.

On 11/19/23 a report of an injured deer on the side of the roadway on Schenck Creek Rd. was made. A deputy responded, dispatched the deer, then issued a carcass slip to the complainant.

On 11/19/23 Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of E Main St in Danville, in reference to an attempted suicide incident. Upon arrival, Deputies conducted an investigation and identified the suspect of the attempted suicide. Deputies used crisis intervention tactics and the suspect was pink slipped to Knox Community Hospital. A report was taken for documentation purposes.
