Mary Lee (Thompson) Wolford, age 69, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at the Country Club Nursing Home in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She was born on December 14, 1953, in Mount Vernon to the late Harry and Beatrice (Durbin) Thompson.
Mary graduated from Mount Vernon High School in the Class of “72”. She worked at the Mount Vernon Development Center as a Therapeutic Program Worker. Mary valued the work and relationships developed there. Mary enjoyed showing dogs at varies dog shows, she loved all animals. She also enjoyed in the backyard around the campfire, but mostly she loved around her loving family.
Mary is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dwight Wolford; daughters, Julie (Roger) McFarland, Jennifer (Jon) Taylor; granddaughter, Jadriana Fowler; a sister, Patricia (Zsolt) Csaba; and a brother, Harry (Jeana Campolo) Thompson.
A celebration of life was take place at a later date.
