Daniel "Danny" Hause, 76, of Mount Vernon passed away on August 23, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on February 20, 1947 to Leroy and Margaret (Dyer) Hause in Benton Harbor, MI.
Daniel was a US Army Veteran and was member of AMVETS and American Legion. Daniel was an OTR truck driver for FS Carbon Co. and Ryder. He was Regional Driver of the year 1999 Vertical Markets for Ryder. Daniel had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. He was in the band called The Bondsman that he and his brother started in High School. He was noted throughout our family for his manners, values and calm demeaner. He enjoyed time on the porch and spending time with his family and friends.
Daniel is survived by his wife Bonnie J. (Lane) Hause; daughters Alison (Chip) Patton of Colorado Springs, CO and Kristen Thain of Buchanan, MI; grandchildren Kristopher, Jacob (Emi), Brett, Zachary, Olivia and Grace; great-granddaughters Charlie and Hazel Jo; a brother Lee Hause of Ravenna, NE; brother-in-law Rocky (Ginny) Lane of Fredericktown, OH and their daughter Mandy Beheler of Fredericktown, OH, favorite cousin Darlene Johnson of Plainfield, Ill and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; a sister-in-law Grace Hause; a brother-in law Dusty (Janet) Lane and 3 stepbrothers.
There was be no services at this time.
Daniel was be entombed at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273 at a later date.
