Christine Hinkle, age 88, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Country Club Rehabilitation Center in Mount Vernon. She was born on October 18, 1934, in Hazzard Co. Kentucky, to John and Ida (Banks) Maloney.
Christine was a Dietician for Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Once she retired, she enjoyed being around her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a great cook and enjoyed feeding her family on special occasions.
Christine is survived by her sons, Donald Hinkle, George (Darlene) Hinkle; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Virginia (AC) Mann.
Along with her parents, Christine is preceded in death by her husband, George Hinkle.
A celebration of life service was take place at a later date.
