Arlene Joyce Wyatt, age 83, of Howard, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at her home. She was born on March 14, 1940, in Oak Park, Illinois, the daughter of Anthony and Bernice (Burak) Bilisko. Joyce retired as a secretary serving in the aviation industry for many years.
She was a member of the Red Hatters Society and spent numerous hours volunteering as a tutor and teacher. She enjoyed reading, history, working in her flower garden, watching old movies and a crafted seamstress. Although her family was not large, Joyce had many friends and neighbors that loved her.
She is survived by her adopted family, Donald and Tammy Stotts and their children, Joe (Kristen) Stotts, Jake (Kylie) Stotts, Jack (Andi) Stotts, Cassie (Shawn) Tuttle, Courtney (Brandon) Porter and Cody Hunter.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Wyatt, and David Wyatt. She was also preceded in death by her adoptive grandchild, Christopher Vance.
In keeping with her wishes, there was be no services. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Arlene Joyce Wyatt.
