East Knox volleyball loses to Madison Christian in first round of tournament to end season 5-15

No. 12 East Knox was swept by No. 6 Madison Christian in the Division IV Central 1 District/Sectional tournament on Oct. 18, finishing off the Bulldog volleyball season with a 5-15 record. They were 4-9 in Knox Morrow Athletic Conference play.

East Knox went down 5-0 to start the first set, and then 11-3 after strong play by Madison Christian offensively, defensively and from the serving line. The Bulldogs went on to lose 25-10 in set one.

The second set was tied 2-2 and they were in the match down 15-12, but the Eagles went on a tear and ended up beating East Knox 25-13. Madison Christian finished off East Knox with a 25-18 win to take the match.

Madison Christian went on to play No. 2 Fairfield Christian Academy in the second round.
