On October 11th, 2023 at approximately 3:17 P.M. Units responded to the area of 100 McGibney Road in response to a fight. 

A report was taken to be sent to the juvenile prosecutor to be reviewed for criminal charges.

On October 12, 2023 at approximately 5:38 P.M., Units were dispatched to Knox Community Hospital at 1330 Coshocton Avenue for a disturbance involving Jared D. Farabaugh. Upon arrival, I made contact with Jared, two KCH security officers Mand a KCH nurse. Jared was making comments about wanting to assault security. KCH Nurse advised that Jared was disturbing the peace due to his aggressive behavior, throwing objects, cursing and yelling racial slurs. A security guard stated they believed Jared was going to assault him. Jared was secured in handcuffs, in the rear position, gapped appropriately and double-locked. Jared was placed in the backseat of my patrol car and transported to the Knox County Jail. Jared was charged with Disorderly Conduct: Persisting; ORC 2917.ll(A)(l)+(E) (3)(d)

On October 12th 2023 at approximately 9:51 P.M, I was dispatched to North Sandusky Street to investigate a protection order violation.

On October 13, 2023 at approximately 4:00 A.M., Units were dispatched to 717 North Sandusky Street for a disturbance involving Ethen K. Friend. While en route, the complainant advised Ethen was crying, screaming, punching mobile homes, hitting the porch steps, urinating in public and attempting to open the front door. Upon arrival, I observed Ethen running through properties. I made contact with Ethen and detained him. I could smell the strong odor of alcohol coming from him. Ethen admitted to being under the influence of drugs and alcohol. I spoke with the property owner and they advised they wanted to pursue charges. Ethen was secured in handcuffs, in the rear position, gapped appropriately and double-locked. Ethen was placed in the backseat of my patrol car and transported to the Knox County Jail.

On October 14th, 2023 at approximately 7:43 A.M. units responded to the 500 block of South Main Street in reference to an armed individual causing a disturbance. 

One male was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail without further incident.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Jared Farabaugh.
