Karen Lynn Amend, 78, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Crystal Care in Ashland.
Karen was born September 9, 1944, in Euclid, Ohio to William and Ruth {Johnson} Burnette.
She married Jim Amend on December 16, 1982. He survives.
Karen had a wide and varied career: she was the director of the Senior Center in Ashland, sold real estate, was the activity director Avon Oaks Nursing Home, custodian at Emmanuel United Methodist church (which she attended), among several others. She enjoyed crafts, especially painting.
Karen was be deeply missed by her husband, Jim; brother Mike Burnette of Sheffield; and a sister Jane Cupek of Lorian.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, and her two children Tim White and Sherry White.
