Linn Lester Freeman, 84, of Mount Vernon, OH, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 at home, in Mount Vernon.
Linn was born December 29th, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio to Horatio Nelson and Mildred {Miller} Freeman.
He married Mary Kathryn Stacey on February 22nd, 1959.
Linn retired from Buckeye Culvert. He collected antique and model trains. He enjoyed going to car shows and collecting antique cars. He was a carpenter and enjoyed refinishing furniture. He loved his dogs.
Linn was be deeply missed by his children, Jane (Mark) Miller, Donna Shults; grandchildren Kathryn (Dustin) McCoy, Robert (Amanda) Shults, Scott (Brandy) Bittinger, Daniel Bittinger, Keith Carder, Linn Carder; many great-grandchildren including Taylor McCoy, Hunter McCoy, Jonathon Bittinger, Nicolas Bittinger, Dillon Bittinger, Michelle Bittinger, Hailey Bittinger, Austin Carder, Hayden Carder, Rickelle Carder, Ariel Carder, Carson Shults and Chloe Shults; He is survived by 6 siblings, Jenny Keller, Carole Temple, Pauline Saunders, Betty Talbott and Bob Freeman, Linda Freeman. Linn was preceded in death by his wife and 8 siblings, Delores Freeman, Sandy Freeman, Pammy Freeman, Mick Freeman, Rex Freeman, Junior Freeman, Juanita Newton, Mary Freeman.
Friends may call Thursday August 3, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel. Funeral services was followed at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Chaplain Dave Matos officiating. Burial was be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
