Phyllis Braun Kudika, 87, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, after a period of declining health.

Friends may call Friday August 4, 2023 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services was be Friday August 4, 2023 at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Cooper officiating. Burial was be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Phyllis was born May 6, 1936 in Wooster, Ohio to Howard and Cora {Aiken} Crater.

Phyllis graduated from Wooster High School.

She married David Braun on August 13, 1955, he died in 1988. She later married Frank Kudika Jr. on February 15, 1992; he died August 7, 2014.

Phyllis worked for the Wooster Brush Company for over 50 years. She enjoyed outside in her yard, going swimming and boating. She loved Grand Prix cars, spending time with family, dancing and Elvis Presley.

Phyllis was be deeply missed by her sisters-in-law Charlotte Crater, Barbara Crater and brother Jerry (Vivian) Crater; many nieces and nephews; step-children Carrie Green, Julie Hall and Matt Kudika.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband’s David and Frank Jr, brothers Jim and George Crater, sisters Mary Lou Crater and Harriet Monahan.
