William “Bill” Harold Yancer, 82, of Ashland, died Monday, September 4, 2023 at his residence.
Bill was born May 9, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to George and Gwendolyn {Rafferty} Yancer.
He graduated from Westlake High School. He served in the US Navy.
He married Jean Norton on February 23, 1963. She survives.
Bill worked for Gran Cal Inc. for 30 years. He enjoyed collecting old cars.
Bill was be deeply missed by his wife; children Robert Yancer of Ashland, Joanne (James) Jacobs of Ashland; grandchildren Christopher (Ruth), Justice, Colton, Nick (Alyssa), and Mitch; great-grandson Lincoln; brothers Bob (Norma), Terry (Karen); sister Shirley Lidyard.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kathleen.
