Mary Gregory DeVincent, 87 of Mount Vernon, OH passed away Friday, September 29th, 2023 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus after struggling for the past year with many health issues.
Mary was born July 20th, 1936 in Buffalo, NY, to Thomas and Mary {Brainerd} McMahon. She married Pat DeVincent on December 15th, 1956, in Youngstown, OH and together they shared 65 years of marriage. Mary and Pat were able to spend 20 years in Fort Myers Beach FL after retirement.
Devoting herself to her family, Mary enjoyed traveling, cooking, and crafting with shells. Mary and Pat loved animals and raised Dobermans and volunteered extensively for an off leash dog park in Florida. She and her family are forever grateful for the outstanding care she received at Knox Community Hospital and Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Mary was be deeply missed by her children Mary Turner, Marc (Teri), Sabina (Mark), Valerie (Jeff), and David. Mary and her husband were blessed with many beautiful children and grandchildren.
Her wonderful and loving husband, Pat, proceeded her in death as well as her son Andrew, her sister Elizabeth Horning and her parents.
