Terrill, Stover leads Highland to 11th straight conference title

Highland (19-3, 12-2) finished the regular season on a five game winning streak and their 11th consecutive MOAC title with a sweep win over Ontario (12-10, 8-6), led by top notch performances by juniors Larsen Terrill and Kameron Stover.

The Lady Scots won 25-18 in the first set, took a tight 26-24 set two and then sealed the match with a 25-19 win. 

Terrill, who was first team All-Ohio and Central District D2 Co-Player of the Year in her sophomore year, was huge with 33 assists, 11 kills, 13 digs and six aces. Stover, who was third team All-Ohio and first team All-MOAC last season, led all players with her 26 kills to go with an ace, four assists and 14 digs. 

Camryn Miller stepped up on defense with 29 digs, and also served three aces. MaKaylee Merckling had 13 digs and Savanna Sanborn had 12 digs for Highland.

The Lady Scots share first place with Galion, with both teams at 19-3 and a 12-2 record in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference. 

No. 2 Highland takes on No. 22 Whitehall-Yearling on Oct. 16 in the first round of the Division II, Central 2- Sectional/District tournament match.
