Northmor (6-2, 4-1) is getting hot at just the right time with the regular season winding down, with the Golden Knights winning their third straight game 31-3 over KMAC rival Mount Gilead (2-6, 0-5), who have lost five straight.

Northmor had a 21-3 lead after one quarter, with AJ Bower connecting with Jax Wenger for a 22-yard score to start things off. Jocopo Magistris hit a 37-yard field goal for the Indians, but it would prove to be their lone scoring chance. Carson Campbell ran the ball in from three yards out, and then Bower hit Wenger for a 24-yard pass to complete the scoring in the opening quarter.

In the second quarter, Bo Landin caught a 50-yard pass by Bower. Caleb Schnuerer nailed a 36-yard field goal in the fourth to cap off the scoring. Schnuerer was also a perfect 4-for-4 for extra points on the day.

Wenger caught five passes, two for scores, for 82 yards to lead the receivers. Bower went 8-for-18 for 172 yards and three touchdown passes. Bower has 1,572 yards, 23 touchdowns and six picks on the season, while throwing for 59%. Wenger has 28 catches for 499 yards and 10 scores.

Campbell ran 22 times for 121 yard and a touchdown. He also had an interception for a 72 yard return. He has 638 yards and seven touchdowns this year.

For Mount Gilead, Elliot Jones had 13 carries for 39 yards and Cole Frick had 12 carries for 27 yards. Fricke was 7-for-11 passing for 34 yards and an interception.
