Centerburg quarterback Jesse Rings threw for 201 yards and rushed for 131 more in the Trojans 21-0 Friday shutout of the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates, in Cardington.
Rings accounted for all three Centerburg scores, rushing for two touchdowns (11, 4 yards) in the first quarter and throwing for the Trojans' third in the second quarter.
Rings connected with Mason Turske on an 18 yard pass, followed by Daniel LeMaster's third extra point, to make the score 21-0 at halftime.
Neither team scored in the second half.
Centerburg (3-3) had 22 first downs and 377 yards of total offense, compared to seven first downs and 195 offensive yards for Cardington-Lincoln (1-5).
For Centerburg, Turske had five catches for 74 yards and Isaiah Sule had six catches for 40 yards.
Sule 17 rushed for 18 yards and Miles Marshall two rushes for 23 yards
Rings also connected with Jonah Gribben (one catch, 39 yards), Chris Marshall (3 for 28) and Blane Ball (2 for 20).
Cam Allloway (5.5 tackles), Carson Ross (4 tackles), Turske (4 tackles), Hayden Love (3 tackles), Austin Anderson (3 tackles), Marshall (2.5 tackles), Clark Redd (two tackles), Tommy Hause (two tackles) and Heath Merklin (two tackles) paced the defense.
For Cardington-Lincoln, sophomore running back Wyatt Denney rushed 26 times for 115 yards.
Cornerback Warren Garrison had eight tackles.
Centerburg has won nine of its last ten matchups with Cardington-Lincoln, including six in a row.
The Pirates' last win over Centerburg was in 2017 (27-6).
