Ashland 31, Mount Vernon 14
Yellowjackets scored first, on a six-yard run by Jonny Askew. The scores were eventually tied at the end of the first quarter.
The Arrows dominated the Jackets despite the latter's effort to score in the third quarter. Quarterback Nathan Bernhard largely contributed to Ashland's victory. He executed a nine-yard keeper with just 4:46 left in the first quarter and had also secured the lead for his team in the second quarter after throwing a 31-yard touchdown pass on a fourth-and-3, linking with junior wide receiver Michael Franz. In the later part of the game, Hayden DiPuccio scored a touchdown for the Arrows from a four-yard distance, extending their lead to 31-14.

Lexington 42, Wooster 27
Lexington Minutemen took the lead in the first quarter and earned a halftime advantage of 20-6.
Wooster Generals tried to flip the situation but the Minutemen did not easily give up the battle.
Lexington's Mason Green completed 114 yards and two touchdowns on a mere 12 carries, contributing to Lexington's total rushing yardage of 268. His 10-yard run gave Lexington a 42-27 lead.
Lexington will host Mansfield Senior on Sept. 22.
Madison 35, West Holmes 56
West Holmes came back strong from its 2 straight losses The Knights defeated the Rams on Friday after securing 56 scores against Madison's 35.
Before this win, West Holmes lost to Mansfield Senior in an away conference game on Sept. 8.

Mansfield Senior 35, New Philadelphia 14
Mansfield Senior Tygers demonstrated good control early in the game and they continued doing so until they beat New Philadelphia Quakers by a 35-14 score.
Both teams came from victorious games. New Philadelphia Quakers beat Ashland Arrows on Sept. 8 while West Holmes lost to Mansfield Senior Tygers.
The Tygers continued to prevail against their opponents as they had the Quakers score no points in the first quarter and unfailingly challenged them in the next three quarters.
Mansfield Senior will try to maintain dominance in their next game, which will be against Lexington, on Sept. 22.
New Philadelphia will keep on fighting in the conference and is to face Mount Vernon next.
