NEWARK – The Licking/Knox Goodwill Pony Express Horseback Riding Program will open rider registration for the fall session on Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. Volunteer registration is open. Goodwill is very excited about being able to offer this beneficial program for children and young adults (ages 5-21) with disabilities in Licking and Knox Counties. Riding is an excellent form of recreation and socialization and helps to develop self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-discipline.
Riding sessions will be held from Sept. 19 to Oct. 24 on Tuesday evenings, from 6-7 p.m. at Magic Meadows Stable in Heath, Ohio. There is a $25 fee per participant. To register, visit goodwillnewark.com and click on the Pony Express ad.
