MOUNT VERNON – Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s (MVNU) Goliards Chamber Choir will present a spring concert on Saturday, April 22, at 11 a.m. in the Quarry Chapel, 10930 Quarry Rd., Gambier. The concert is free and open to the public.  

Goliards, an a cappella chamber choir, consists of 18 auditioned members under the direction of Mrs. Carrie Vail. This concert will showcase a variety of unaccompanied selections, some in Latin and German texts, covering early music to current repertoire.  

Goliards is one of three choral ensembles at MVNU. They present their own concerts as occasions arise and also participate in the annual Messiah performance, homecoming concert, Christmas festival and spring ensembles concert. Members represent a variety of academic majors and denominational backgrounds.
