MOUNT VERNON – East Burgess Street will be closed between Gay Street and McKenzie Street from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 7. The Water Department requested the closure for water service renewal. The road will be closed to all traffic, including emergency traffic. Please call the City Water Dept. at 740-393-9504 if you have questions regarding this closure.

Initially this was announced to be for Thursday, April 6, but the work has been moved to Friday instead.
