The Knox County Republican Party invites the community to attend its March chairman's reception at Mazza's Restaurant on Thursday, March 23, from 6 to 8 p.m.

This month’s guests will be Kanda Benner with Relationships Under Construction (RUC), a pro-family organization that teaches youth the blueprint for strong future families. Their program addresses character development, goal setting, how to recognize healthy and unhealthy relationships, and dating violence while exploring the issues of fatherhood, motherhood and healthy family formation. Kanda teaches RUC courses at Lexington, East Knox, and all schools in Morrow County.

Also joining us is pastor and State Rep. Gary Click, founder and chair of the new Ohio Legislative Prayer Caucus. Rep. Click and 13 other House members stood up to the Freedom from Religion Foundation when they attacked the East Knox Board of Education.

This free event is hosted by the Knox County Republican Party and is open to the public. Local Republicans are especially encouraged to attend as attendance supports the Knox County Republican Party and the party's local candidates.

Free appetizers and a cash bar will be available, as well as a split-the-pot drawing.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; speakers begin at 6:30 p.m. For updates and information, follow the Knox County Republican Party on Facebook or contact Tanner Salyers at KnoxGOPinfo@gmail.com.
