MOUNT VERNON – Vicki K. Whidden, 76, of Mount Vernon passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the Country Club Retirement Center.
She was born on Oct. 24, 1946, in Norwalk, to the late Donald and Helen (Midos) Kinnard. Vicki enjoyed the outdoors, planting her flowers and tending to her garden. But most of all, she loved the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her husband, of over 47 years, Jack Whidden; her stepchildren Wendy (Dave) Deveau and Jack Whidden Jr.; her grandchildren Natalie Baker and Katlyn Baker; and her step-grandchildren Matthew Deveau and Ryan Deveau.
In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her daughter Tiffani Alane` Baker; her brothers Don and Edwin Kinnard; and her sister Diane Kinnard.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 16, from 5-6 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow, beginning at 6 p.m. with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating. Burial will take place at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Howard on Friday beginning at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
