FULTON – There's nothing like the taste of fresh maple syrup on all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage, amidst soothing live background music by Avalon Nine.

The Lutheran Memorial Camp has announced plans for their 47th Annual Maple Syrup Festival, Sunday, March 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2790 State Route 61 near Fulton. This annual event attracts enthusiasts from across the state.

The Pancake and Sausage Feast is $11 for adults and $8 for youth. All proceeds support their “Campership” Program to assure that all kids can go to camp.

Let a naturalist show you how to identify and tap maple trees, then help collect the sap. Visit the Sugar Bush and see if you can tell the difference between non-maple syrup and "The Real McCoy." Sample maple donuts and sassafras tea, and purchase maple syrup and fresh baked goods.

Reservations are not required.
