Bradford 'Brad' Walton was identified in this Photo History, which ran in our Wednesday, Jan. 11, edition by both his cousin, Paula Walton, and Ellen G. Robinson. Both noted that he was the welding teacher at the then Joint Vocational School, and that both he and his students used to win many welding awards — something he was well known for. The fireplace insert he's standing beside is believed by both to be his own work, but could be a project completed by his class. Robinson guessed this picture was taken in the 1980s.
