MOUNT VERNON – The Downtown Mount Vernon Merchants, Experience Mount Vernon, and the Knox County Convention & Visitors Bureau recently announce the Sweetheart Shopping Trail.
Taking place Feb. 9-12 in Downtown Mount Vernon, the Sweetheart Shopping Trail is an opportunity to pick up your last minute Valentine’s Day gifts - or shop for yourself - and to have your name added to a drawing for great downtown prize packs.
Here's how it works: Beginning Thursday, Feb. 9, shoppers can pick up an entry form at one of the participating businesses and receive a stamp with a purchase of any amount. After receiving stamps from four different locations, shoppers can turn in their form at any participating location to be entered into the drawing for a chance to win one of three great prize packs. The drawing will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 14, and the winners will be contacted and announced on the Experience Mount Vernon Facebook page.
