In rushing, Highland’s Dane Nauman finished as the No. 2 rusher in Ohio with 2,380 yards, trailing only Gibsonburg’s Connor Smith with 2,581 total yards. Fredericktown’s Teegan Ruhl finished No. 8 with 1,814 yards rushing. Centerburg’s Tyler Johnson was No. 13 in Ohio with 1,543 yards. Mount Gilead’s Matthew Bland is 25th with 1,363 yards. Bland’s teammate Garrett George is 26th with 1,357 yards, Caylan LeMaster of Centerburg, is 40th with 1,216 yards, and Danville’s Max Payne is 57th with 1,066 yards gained.
On defense, Leighton Loge of Nelsonville-York leads with 173 tackles. Locally, Danville’s Levi Lyons is tied for No. 33 with 110 tackles (63 solos and 47 assists). Cardington-Lincoln’s Colin McAvoy is 41st with 107 tackles, and Fredericktown’s Mason Hoeflich is tied for No. 90 with 91 tackles. Blue Devil Ryan Lucas has 88 tackles to tie for 100th.
