MOUNT VERNON – Michele A. Lower, 58, of Owensville passed away early Monday, Sept. 26, 2022, surrounded by family, after battling cancer. She was born on April 16, 1964, in Mount Vernon, daughter of Robert Lower and the late Karen Hollingsworth.
At a young age, Michele began drawing and then painted abstracts and florals throughout her life. Her paintings hang in homes across our country. Michele was passionate about flower gardening, hard rock music, all things flamingos, the Street Outlaws, and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Michele was also preceded in death by her cherished partner, Mike Cook; and stepdad, Charles Hollingsworth. She leaves behind her son, Curtis (Erin) Lower; daughter, Sonya (Trae Sapp) Dulaney; sister, Debbie Lower; sister-in-law Marie Goodchild; stepmom, Kay Lower; six stepsisters and stepbrothers; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and dear friends will hold private services in Cincinnati and Chesterville, Ohio. Memorial contributions, in Michele’s name, may be made to The ALS Association of Central & and Southern Ohio, 1170 Old Henderson Road #221, Columbus, OH 43220.
