HOWARD – Joanna K. Hyde, 56, of Howard passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, at her residence. She was born on March 29, 1966, in Columbus, Ohio, to James and Jeanne (Morgan) Witt.
Joanna enjoyed clay crafting, baking, cooking, antiques, casinos and traveling to Amish Country. The Olive Garden was one of her favorite restaurants and going with family was a highlight for her. She loved playing games with family, but most of all she loved laughing and being happy.
Joanna is survived by her children, Megan (Tyler) Hewitt and Maverick Peters; grandchildren, Gabe and Jaxon Hewitt; a sister, Julie (John) Wetzel; a brother, Jim Witt Jr; nieces, Khloe and Karleigh Wetzel; and her canine companions, Gracie and Annie.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 11 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service starting at 1 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050, with Pastor Austin Beckett officiating.
