ASHLAND – The Lorain-Medina Rural Electric Cooperative (LMRE) People Fund board has approved a grant in the amount of $2,157 to fund the purchase of a multitude of patient care items for Hospice of North Central Ohio (HNCO).
The grant will allow HNCO to purchase magnifying lamps, light therapy lamps and music therapy equipment. The grant will also fund heavy absorbent bed pads. All of these items will help provide comfort to hospice patients in HNCO’s care.
Holly Storrow, LMRE People Fund administrator, said, “On behalf of the Lorain-Medina Rural Electric Cooperative People Fund board, the goal is to help people within our communities receive the best care, education and opportunity possible. The board recognizes that HNCO demonstrates all of this and more through their dedication to the people they serve and are happy to help continue that tradition through this grant.”

These special items will have an immediate and positive impact on our patients and their families.
