“Friends and Foes of the Forest” guided hike. Calling all landowners and people who want to learn more about the local native and invasive plants in and around their yards. Knox County Park District College interns Sam Large and Macy Helser will lead an informative hike where they will discuss and show various invasive and native plant species. This program offers an opportunity to learn more about the common safe and more dangerous plants that may likely be in your backyard and how to manage harmful invasive plants while promoting native plant species.
