Mount Vernon Nazarene golfers have earned recognition from the Crossroads League in both men's and women's golf

Dylan Errington of the men’s golf team earned recognition from the Crossroads League for his play.

The sophomore from Gahanna turned his fine season on the green into an All-Crossroads League honorable mention nod. The All-League honor is the first time in Errington’s career that he has received the recognition.

In MVNU’s 10 outings, Errington led the team in lowest overall score five times. Errington placed second overall in team scores on four occasions, a consistent threat in the lineup for coach Mike King’s team.

In women's golf, following its conference tournament on May 2-3, the Crossroads League announced its women's golf All-League honors on Monday, May 9. The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's golf team had two members take home honors.

The first member of the team was Peyton Broce. After making the Crossroads League All-Tournament Team and Crossroads League honorable mention in 2021, the senior from Indianapolis took her game to another level in 2022, as she was named to the Crossroads League All-Conference team.

Isabela Carvajal Rios earned Crossroads League honors for MVNU after an impressive freshman season. Carvajal Rios, who is from Manizales, Colombia, became a steady fixture in the lineup for the Lady Cougars. Rios' consistent play and ability to finish near the top of the MVNU scorecard earned her honorable mention recognition from the Crossroads League.

MVNU placed fifth overall at the Crossroads League Women's Golf Championships.
