MOUNT VERNON – The Knox County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) has revealed its new 2022-2023 Visitor Guides Magazine to tourism partners and community leaders.
“This guide serves as a resource to our visitors, residents and businesses,” said Executive Director Carol Grubaugh. “We produce this guide every two years, and this year was a brand-new look to highlight more local storytelling, authentic experiences and our recent refresh of the Knox County CVB brand. The theme of this year’s guide is to discover the unexplored and unexpected; we hope guests will do just that.”
Knox CVB has partnered with Great Lakes Publishing Co., based out of Cleveland and Columbus, to produce this year’s guide.
“We’ve loved our relationship with Knox County,” said Sales Executive Marilyn Tainous. “We see a lot of great work from all over the state, but we are really excited for Knox to highlight their best features in this guide; it’s fresh and fun. Not to mention they used a fun location, a local family and a local photographer (Nicole Leone Miller Photography, nicoleleonemiller.com) for their cover art.”
In collaboration with local tourism partners, Marketing Manager Olivia Toth was able to highlight some of the unique and special things about Knox.
“My favorite part of this magazine is that we interviewed locals about their favorite things to do, their recommendations to eat and got a chance to get an “insider’s” view on what you won’t want to miss,” Toth said. “It’s hard to pick what to do, whether you have a long weekend or a quick overnight; we hope this guide acts as your personal tour guide.”
Over 49,000 Knox County Visitor Guide Magazines will be distributed statewide at travel information centers, tourist attractions, travel shows and beyond.
