MOUNT VERNON – Brad Leroy Doup, 59, of Mount Vernon passed away on April 23, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was born on Feb. 28, 1963, to Earl “Jack” and Betty (Scott) Doup in Mount Vernon.

Brad was currently employed at Advantage Ag in Mount Vernon, and was also the owner of Doup Undercoating.

Brad was not only the party planner but the life of the party. He took great pride in everything he did and would do anything to help anyone in need. He loved his family and friends deeply. Anytime spent with them was treasured. Brad will live on forever through his stories that will always bring laughter to our hearts and put a smile on our face.

He will be greatly missed by the love in his life who brought him great joy, Tracey Wilson of Mount Vernon, his mother Betty (Scott) Doup of Mount Vernon; brothers Dale Doup of Orient, Mark (Diane) Doup of Bellville, Troy Doup of Mount Vernon, Alan (Leila) Doup of Utica; sisters Terri (Ron) Meyer of Mount Vernon, Jody (Greg) Lawson of Howard, Misty (Eric) Rayburn of Mount Vernon; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Earl “Jack” Doup.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Brad’s memory to the charity of one’s choice or a friend in need.

Calling hours will be Friday, April 29, at the Snyder Funeral Home ~ Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road, from 4 – 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 30, at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
