MANSFIELD – Richland Academy of the Arts has several new art class opportunities coming up for students to explore their potential, increase their skills and have a fun arts experience. Along with Richland Academy’s two new art instructors, Autumn Cadle and Ken Barnett, these new art classes will give students a chance to create and explore.
Prehistoric Cave Art for Kids – ages 4-7, four weeks:
Session 1: March 21 through April 11, Mondays 4-5 p.m.
Session 2: April 27 through May 18, Wednesdays 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Found Object Sculpture – ages 6-8, four weeks:
April 25 through May 16, Mondays 4-5 p.m.
Introduction to Hand Building Ceramics – ages 8-12, four weeks:
Session 1: March 22 through April 12, Tuesdays 5-6:30 p.m.
Session 2: April 26 through May 17, Tuesdays 5-6:3.0 p.m.
Collage for Kids: Sunflowers, Goldfish, and Animals! – ages 8-12, six weeks:
March 21 through May 2, Mondays 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Coil Building Ceramics – ages 8-12, four weeks:
March 23 through April 13,Wednesdays 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Carrousel Painting Workshop – ages 9-17, eight weeks
March 14 through May 16, Mondays 5-6:30 p.m.
Decorative Folk Art Painting – ages 18-60+, four weeks:
