I would like to respond to my own letter.
I have had a heavy heart since submitting this letter.
To the teachers and physicians who chose your fields for the good of the children and your fellow man and are doing all you can to stay true to your convictions. I realize you must feel as though you are being backed into a corner; please never surrender. I believe you're out there, and I'm sorry for the pressures that are placed on you to follow protocol or risk your livelihood. I pray God give you the strength to speak the truth in love, even though this may come at a great cost.
Please forgive the harshness of my letter, and thank you for your service.
