NOTICE FOR PUBLICATION
To all who may claim an interest in the assets of Free Pentecostal Church of God, Pentecostal Church of God, Pentecostal Country Church, Old Country Church, or Church Ministries of Roy Davis: You are hereby notified that Dorse W. Davis is the Trustee of the Free Pentecostal Church of God located at 10780 Millersburg Road, Howard, Ohio. He has filed an action in the Knox County Court of Common Pleas entitled Dorse W. Davis, Trustee vs. Mary Ann Altepeter, Administrator of the Estate of Roy L. Davis, et al. Case No. 22OT 02-0022. The address of the Court is 111 E. High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
The action filed is for a declaratory judgment seeking a declaration of ownership of certain assets. The Free Pentecostal Church of God seeks ownership of the assets and is requesting the termination of rights of others in said assets.
Those assets include real estate in the name of the Free Pentecostal Church of God described as:
Situated in Township 6, Range 11, Quarter 1 and being a triangular piece of ground located in the southeast corner of Lot No. 8 and commencing at a point where the East line of Lot No. 7 intersects the center line of State Route 62 and running thence South along said lot line a distance of 200 feet more or less to the point where the Southeast corner of Lot No. 8 intersects with the Northeast corner of Lot No. 7. Running thence West along the South line of Lot No. 8 a distance of 178 feet more or less to a point where the said South lot line intersects the center line of State Route 62; running thence in a northeast direction along the center line of said State Route 62 a distance of 284 feet more or less to the point of beginning estimated to contain .41 of an acre, more or less.
Being part of a 95.25-acre tract conveyed to Willard and Alice Lumbatia by deed recorded in Volume 289, page 233, 234, Knox County, Ohio Deed Records.
Vehicles described as a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer, VIN 1GNDT13W412106074, titled in the name of Pentecostal Country Church; a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, VIN 2GNAXSEV1J6275943, titled in the name of Pentecostal Church of God; a 1981 Chevrolet, VIN 2G1AZ37J3B1424203 titled in the name of Pentecostal Church; and a 2007 Chevrolet Truck, VIN 2GCEK19J271710050, titled in the name of Church Ministries of Roy Davis.
Certain bank accounts held at the CES Credit Union in the name of Church Ministries of Roy Davis.
Parties claiming a superior right to ownership are required to assert their rights in this action or forever be barred from relief or claim in said assets.
This notice shall be published one day each week for six weeks. If you believe you have a claim for these assets, you shall have 28 days from the date of the last publication to file an answer setting forth your rights in the Knox County Court of Common Pleas. Your failure to file setting forth your rights will operate as a permanent bar to further claims. You should reference this case caption and Case No. 22OT 02-0022. The date of the last publication shall be __April 16, 2022 .
