MOUNT VERNON – Kevin “Beaver” Lee Axline, 64, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Marion, went to join the Lord, and his big brother Robbie, on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022.

Kevin was born June 20, 1957, in Marion, the son of Robert C. Axline and Charma Lee (Almendinger) and Daddy Ron Fultz. 

He is survived by his mother and father, Charma and Ron Fultz of Marion; aunts and uncles: Dick and Pam Axline of Waldo, Sharon and Alan Lee of Mount Vernon, Deb and Jeff Hartman of Utah, Jim and Ruth May of Idaho, John May of Florida, Chris Adams of Grove City; many cousins, nieces and nephews, especially Cathy and Jerry Pask, Rick and Patty Schultz, Julie George, Wendy and Mike Sisson, and Troy Schultz.

Kevin is preceded in death by grandparents: Ruby Kile Almendinger, Don and Mary Almendinger, Bill and Elizabeth Axline; great-grandma Ethel Kile; aunts and uncles: Don and Barb Schultz, Bill and Ruth Axline, Jim Axline, and Alan May.

Kevin had a very special home at Mount Vernon Developmental Center for over 30 years; special thanks to all the staff that treated Kevin like their own family. Also, thank you to the staff at Knox Community Hospital for their care. 

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
