MOUNT VERNON – Richard F. Gillooley, 90, of Mount Vernon passed away on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, at his home. He was born on Dec. 15, 1931, in Chicago, IL to the late James and Bernice (Anderson) Gillooley.

Richard honorably served his country in the Navy and retired from Pittsburgh Plate and Glass in Mount Vernon. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Richard is survived by his sister, Carol McKinley of Mount Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Gieseke; and a brother, Charles Edward Gillooley.

In following Richard’s wish, there will not be any services.
