JELLOWAY – Eva June Wenger, 92, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
June was born in Danville, OH, on April 18, 1929. She was the daughter of Cleveland and Bertha (Lease) Stull. She enjoyed life. She always had a smile and was happiest playing music. She performed with the Country Roses Band for many years at square-dances and all over Ohio.
Surviving are her daughter, Kathy (James) Gallant of Frazeysburg, her grandchildren; Amanda (Mike) Smith, Amber Hague, Joshua (Kat) Marmet, Jacob (Theresa) Marmet, and Joel (Corey) Marmet, her great-grandchildren, Avery, Lucy, Fiona, Gracen, Finley Marmet and Keyonna (Casey) King; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, August; her daughter, Sally Marmet; brothers; Paul, Carl and Robert Stull; and sisters, Edna Simmons, Jane Hashman, Ethel Heaton and Cleo Kunkel.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will follow in Millwood Cemetery. Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service.
