The Knox County Sheriff's Office reported that Alyssa Wood, the 14-year old Mount Vernon girl who was reported missing earlier this week has been located.
The teen was taken into custody by Jackson Police Department officers in Jackson County, Ohio.
"She is expected to be returned to Knox County within the next couple days," according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office Facebook post.
So far in the investigation, which is still in progress, Dustin N. Theopilus, 38, Columbus, has been arrested on charges of interfering with custody.
