MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found five guilty after hearings in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on Nov. 24.

Joni Busenburg, 38, Mount Vernon, left of center and driving while distracted, $125 fine.  

Timothy Brown, 54, Mount Liberty, driving under an FTA suspension, $100 fine.  

Frederick Murphy, 31, Mount Vernon, driving without a valid license, $100 fine.  

Ian Keller, 29, Mount Vernon, assured clear distance ahead, $50 fine.  

Peter Negron, 37, Howard, failure to use reasonable control and operating an unsafe vehicle. $50 and $15 fines, respectively.  

Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney represented the City of Mount Vernon and the State of Ohio in the above cases.
