MOUNT VERNON – Frances Miriam Dorothea Mankins Ball was born without a heartbeat on Nov. 20, 2021, at OSU Wexner Medical Center. Frances is the cherished daughter of Brian Ball and Sara Mankins, and beloved sister of Esha and Abra Ball.
She is mourned by her grandparents Stanley and Rita Ball of Gambier, Fred Mankins of Danville, Jane Fricke of Mount Vernon and her uncle Bill Mankins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 5-7 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Country Club, 8927 Martinsburg Road. The family will observe a private burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SPI or the Mankins-Ball Family Fund at the Knox County Foundation, where a project fund has been established for a family bathroom next to the Harmony Playground in Frances’ memory.
